Mercer County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of hard and soft dog food and soft cat food. All donations are appreciated.
The shelter is bursting at the seams with dogs. We need foster homes. Here are some benefits of having dogs in a foster home:

Notes: Violet was adopted and returned through no fault of her own. Violet is 3-5 years old and already spayed. She is good with other dogs, but we always recommend bringing yours for a meet and greet before adoption. NO cats. Violet is incredibly intelligent. She already knows six commands/tricks! She loves playing, especially with tennis balls. Violet also keeps a very clean kennel and walks well on a leash once she gets those initial zoomies out of the way. Ask to meet this girl outside of her run; she gets scared and barks when strangers approach her kennel at the shelter. Once she is out though, she is the biggest sweetheart ever.

- Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents. Please note ALL animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter.
